. . . make lemonade!
Last night, we plucked a bunch of lemons off of the tree in our backyard and tried out our fancy (and cheap!) new juicer.
We stopped juicing when we had this much juice in the pitcher . . .
Added some water, a little simply syrup. And, oh my gosh, it was amazing. Unfortunately, we don't have pictures of the finished product - we were so thrilled with making lemonade from our own backyard!! that we set aside the camera.
Here's the good news, from that big bowl of lemons, we still have this many left. There will be more lemonade. And from the look of our tree - there will be lots more.
That is sooo cool!!! I can't wait to come visit and try some home-grown lemonade :)

We have a meyer lemon and juice like crazy. One tip...freeze the juice in ice cube trays. There are certain times of the year that there are so many lemons that even giving a bunch away doesn't use them all and I hate to waste them. Oh...and lemon curd. Let me know if you want the recipe.
